Architectural Electronix Presents: The Beamz (Russian Winter)
December 2, 2017 –
Architectural Electronix in Association with Osiris Records and Optimum Lighting Presents:
The Beamz (Russian Winter) vs. Dot Product (Osiris Music)
in a collaborative night of electronic orchestral music, architectural noise, white light, haze machines and Russian Winter themed projections.
The night at All Hallows Hall Easton will feature a specially created stage and lighting show, guest DJs, Russian Winter VJs, and music from Bristol's luminaries of the electronic-orchestral scene The Beamz (whose Russian Winter Orchestral Concept multimedia show produced by Judith Ashton sold out three nights at The Colston Hall in 2014) and Dot Product (recently returned from their Boiler Room session in Berlin, and signed to avant guard record label Osiris Music).
The show on 2nd Decemeber is a one off curated show on the site of the Russian Winter masked ball - the mysterious and atmospheric All Hallows Hall. Music from 8pm til very late. Special Guest DJs to be announced soon.
Dress to impress - inspiration from 'The Russian Winter' - Russian Futurists, Revolutionaries, Elite-Bourgeoise, Czars, Dosteyovskian Drinkers, Rakish Rasputins and Bulgakovian Cats. Drinks prizes for the best outfits.
ʻThe Russian Winterʼ started as a concept album, written and composed by professional musicians John E. Vistic and Adam Coombs. Through working with Creative producer Judith Aston, her Film-making and Creative Media graduates from UWE and other industry practitioners, the project has evolved into an
ambitious collaborative multimedia production.
Influenced by Mikhail Bulgakovʼs great 1930ʼs Russian novel, The Master and the Margarita, it is a story of love and passion and the individual's struggle against the mob.
