About All Hallows Hall
All Hallows Hall is a finely decorated hall with many grotesques and original features. It was built between 1895 and 1901. The architects were Oatley and Lawrence along with Francisco de Sousa Rio. They also designed the famous Wills memorial tower of Bristol University. The hall is open plan, and was designed in a perpendicular gothic revival style.
It is of historical importance as one of the first halls in the UK to be installed post Roman times a concrete floor with under floor heating.
